libsdformat1 software package provides Simulation Description Format (SDF) parser - Shared library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsdformat1
libsdformat1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsdformat1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsdformat1 *
You will get with libsdformat1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
